Hi Amparo! I really like your play outline. I love "The Gruffalo" and have read it to my students in class. They love it! I think that it is a very good story to dramatise in the classroom, and the students can help with putting the script together, making the scenery and even the costumes. I think it could be a great way to end a project about the book, which could be integrated into subjects such as Art, and even Science (in the topic about wild animals). I would keep the play outline as it is, I think it's great!
ResponderEliminarHello Amparo!, I really like the way you´re introducing this story and it is quite right to start with a brainstorm as it is the best way to generate ideas and creativity in children. I also like the opportunity you´re given to them in respecting every person´s contribution without fear of criticism. Working cooperatively to prepare their customs and decoration is a good idea for this age.
ResponderEliminarI can see you´re using a Big Book in order to tell the story, the Gruffalo is a fun book to read aloud. Big Books are great for interaction and get your students engaged with the story.
